I was at a destination wedding, and someone brought a portable basket. We played HORSE. One guy owned a K1 Soft Berg.

The next day we went to go play at a course in Phoenix. I had no discs, so we stopped to buy some. I got a Discraft Heat, a Discraft Buzzz, and, in spite of my friend's advice, a venom green K1 Soft Berg. All I wanted was a disc that looked like that, felt like that, and did what I wanted like that. The other two discs are gone, and everything in my bag is Kastaplast now.

As a beginner, it was a fantastic putter for everything I did. I couldn't overthrow. It stopped when it hit the ground. It felt good.

As an intermediate, I'm now starting to experience a lot more useage for it. On long throws, it will hold a line quite well, not quite Svea well in normal conditions, but in the wind... indispensable. Can't live without it. Everyone else is getting bullied, and I can just put it where I want it. Throw it hard, throw it soft, throw it in wind, throw it in calm, it's reliable.

Can't recommend enough, everybody needs a Berg. And don't get the K1. Get the K1 Soft. You don't want to throw it hard enough for torque resistance to matter anyway.

Mine is pink. It's the second one I've had, and while I don't love her like I loved the first one quite yet, I think it's just because I haven't hit enough trees with her.

This disc is incredible. It will hold flat, hyzer, anhyzer, flies far, flies short, you name it, it can do it. Other than putting, this would work for a one disc round, and if you're not a super fast thrower, and I am not, it will probably work better than *most* drivers for you. Such a predictable disc, and like that other fellow said, I feel naked without one. This and a Svea will revolutionize your game.

Slightly harder to throw at full power than the K1 Svea, but only because the plastic is a touch stickier. Other than that, it's perfect. I've never seen a disc stick to a line so predictably, it's incredible to watch, and it goes surprisingly far considering the lack of torque resistance in the plastic. Much more likely to be understable than the K1, but K1 Soft is plastic for touch throwers. Finesse is a must!

I'll write a tutorial for this disc at 6500' (1900m for people who don't have feet) rather than a review:

1. Hold the disc gently, lining up the front foot's heel with the ball of the back foot, lined up with the target.

2. Visualize the straight line between your aim line, and move the disc along that exact line, perfectly flat.

3. Watch the disc go exactly where you aimed, in a perfectly straight line, every single time, with perfect repeatability.

4. Profit.

I think they called this a Jarn because you'll be spinning Jarns about the incredible layups you get with this disc. I actually don't understand how it's so accurate, but you'll find yourself hitting the pin on about 7/10 layup shots, and the rest will be within 5' (1.5m for those who didn't have Henry Ford build their country).

Extremely predictable, comfortable to hold, and works weirdly well when I'm too lazy to pull out my Reko.

The only warning is that if you are trying to throw over 100' (30m), you really should get the Gadd. The 4.5 speed rating is, in my opinion, too high a number, and it's probably closer to a 3.5, and that's coming from someone who generally finds the speed rating of Kastaplast useful as instruction, not just description.

I started golfing about five months ago, with a debilitating inadequacy in my driving-- and uneducated enough to pick up a Guld as my first driver. Still can't throw it correctly!

The Alva though, is wonderful for a beginner. With slower armspeed and lower rpm, it flies almost entirely straight with a mild fade at the end that is predictable enough to let the thrower drop it where they want it.

Now, I'm comfortably throwing around 350' (about 107m for you troglodytes) and starting to get enough rotation to see the understability come out a bit. I suppose I should mention that I'm at about 6500' elevation (1981m smh) so it's a lot less *characterful* than it would be at low altitude. But for my elevation it's flawless, mild turn that never seems to get away from me, and a mild fade that still just sits where I want it to.

My one complaint: the green color shows the picture for the teal disc, so I bought the green thinking it would be a bright color like the classic venom green. Not so, it's actually a very attractive gold flake metallic forest green, but I live in a sagebrush desert so it's unbelievably camouflaged. RIP, I will probably never find it. Fantastic disc though, it really does fly like a mildly beat in Wraith, without the psychotic runaway understability. 10/10, will be getting another one. Also, Kastaplast team, please change the picture for that color to prevent another one of these senseless tragedies!

This might be my favorite flavor of the Jarn. It plants to the ground easily and I like using it for forehand shots in the woods. It helps mitigate tragic shots!

I’ve received several compliments on the course during glow rounds. One person had seen my Kastaplast glow discs and noticed it had the same glow logo as my shirt. I given a fantastic review on Kastaplast and promoted the brand. Even said kastaplast discs are from the same country as ABBA. Really cool fact. Both icons are originally formed Stockhome. Gotta say, jamming out ABBA during a glow round go hand in hand!!

I love my disc! It is hard to order from you, though, because after shipping the disc cost me over $30, and I can get cheaper discs elsewhere.
